Until now, bakers of buns, rolls, bagels, crackers, English muffins, snack bars and cookies for the consumer market were forced into utilizing the vastly inefficient waterfall method when placing items such as cheese, spices, salt, seasonings and seeds on top of their products. This antiquated process, which deposits toppings from the beginning of the pan to the end regardless of product placement, has been directly responsible for ingredient loss figures rivaling 40%.

The Spee-Dee Bakery Depositor successfully resolves this profit-eroding scenario by allowing for non-uniform placement within the rows of product. By dispensing toppings precisely on individual products, not the pan, costly material waste is significantly reduced.

This flexible system may be configured to accommodate as many as 12 lanes, with product centerlines from 2.5". A photo eye on each lane senses the leading edge of the individual product in its row and initiates dispensing onto the top of the product. Computer programming of the precise number of auger revolutions required accurately defines the duration of the distribution process.
